City of Eden's Chief of Police

This is Eden's Police Chief Gary Benthin. Chief Benthin was appointed in 1989 and has run our department ever since. Our department has come a long way under his comand.

Eden currently has a sixty-three member department broken up into three divisions:(Administration Division, Detective Division and the Patrol Division).
Our Patrol Division currently has four shifts A,B,C and D. Seven of us are currently assigned to C shift. Our Lieutenant is B.Wade and our Sergeant is S.Blackwell.
The OFFICERS currently assigned to "C" shift are: R.Price, S.Shelton, A.Welch, J.Price, and myself W.East.

Hello to everyone who comes to this page. My name is William East and I am a patrol officer for the City Of Eden. I came out of rookie school in 1989 and went to work for Eden in 1990. I started on C shift then went to work on Eden's Special Enfocement unit. After about 2 years on the unit I returned back to patrol on C shift. I am trying to keep this page updated so bare with me if updates are slow. Thanks
